This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 28593-2012 "Dust Storm Weather Warning". Compared with GB/T 28593-2012, the main differences are in structural adjustments and rewriting. Aside from the logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) A grading system has been added (see Chapter 4);

b) The classification indicators for sandstorm weather warning signals have been removed (see Chapter 3 of the.2012 edition);

c) The warning levels and indicators for sandstorm weather have been changed (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the.2012 edition). Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. 5 Indicator Judgment

5.1 Blue Alert It is expected that within the next 24 hours, more than 20% of the surface meteorological observation stations within the warning area or parts of two or more administrative regions will experience [weather conditions]. A blue alert for sandstorm weather should be issued if blowing sand or dust occurs, or if it has already occurred and is likely to continue. Specifically.

a) The indicators for national-level and provincial-level early warnings should be based on more than 20% of ground meteorological observation stations or 2 to 5 departments within their respective administrative regions. By region;
