Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. This standard replaces GB/T 17939-2008 "nuclear grade HEPA filter," compared with the GB/T 17939-2008 major technological changes as follows:

--- Modify the scope for nuclear and radiation facilities in air and gas handling systems used in nuclear grade HEPA filter (See Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2008 edition);

--- Modify the "Terms and definitions" (see Chapter 3, Section 3 of the 2008 edition);

1 Scope

GB/T 17939-2015 is the Chinese national standard on nuclear grade high efficiency particulate air filters, in the field of fluid systems and general-purpose components. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 9 October 2015 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 May 2016. Classification: ICS 23.120, CCS P 48. This standard specifies the nuclear grade HEPA filter classification and specifications, structure, material, performance, testing, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation, Storage and quality assurance requirements. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Nuclear grade HEPA filter nucleargradehighefficiencyparticulateairfilter In the nuclear safety-related air and gas handling systems used to meet seismic requirements and quality assurance aspects of the HEPA filter.

3.2 Filter filterpack Mounted within the frame, implement filtering components are separated by a filter and composed.
