Scope

NB/T 20095-2012 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂安全壳外供暖、通风、空调系统设计准则.

NB/T 20095-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard covering the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems placed outside the containment of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.

It sets the design criteria and basic requirements for those systems and their equipment where safety functions are affected, and it includes the physical design requirements.

The systems in question are built from equipment, air ducts and control devices that rely on active components to provide heating, cooling, ventilation, smoke and heat control and release control outside the reactor containment.

The ventilation system of the annular space around the containment falls outside the standard. It quotes documents such as GB 4962, GB/T 12727, GB 50370 and EJ/T 1082-2005, and it supersedes EJ/T 1136-2001. Issued on 6 January 2012, it has applied since 6 April 2012.
