Construction of heating, ventilation and air conditioning installations in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants is the subject of NB/T 20113-2012, a recommended standard of the Chinese energy industry.

It gives the technical requirements and the quality standards for installing and building the ventilation systems of the nuclear island plant. The construction activity it covers runs from making duct work out of bulk material, through ventilation equipment and other finished parts, up to the point just before the ventilation system is commissioned.

It applies to nuclear island ventilation installation on new and extension projects at pressurized water reactor stations, and maintenance work may follow it by reference.

GB/T 50243 is the standard it quotes. Issued on 6 January 2012, it has applied since 6 April 2012.
