NB/T 20390-2016 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂机械模块安装及验收技术规程.

Mechanical modules installed in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants are the subject of NB/T 20390-2016, a recommended standard of the Chinese energy industry.

It gives the basic requirements for installing these modules and for accepting the installed work. The activities it covers are carried out on site and include receipt of the items, transport, hoisting, erection, welding, non-destructive testing, the adjustment of rotating equipment, corrosion protection and protection of the finished work.

Mechanical modules of other reactor types may be installed and accepted with reference to it. It quotes GB 6067, GB 50231, GB 50275, NB/T 20122, NB/T 20123, HAF 602 and HAF 603. Issued on 5 February 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
