Scope
GB/T 15337-2008 is the English-translated version of 原子吸收光谱分析法通则.
GB/T 15337-2008 is the Chinese national standard on general rules for atomic absorption spectrometric analysis, in the field of chemical technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 4 June 2008 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 December 2008. Classification: ICS 71.040.50, CCS G04. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 15337-1994 "General atomic absorption spectrometry." This standard and GB/T 15337-1994 main differences are as follows:
--- Increasing the physical elimination of interference in the content of 7.2.5.2;
9.2.3 will be "should be placed in a rubber or synthetic resin sheet insulating material above" with "should not be placed in a rubber or synthetic resin Boards and other insulating material above ";
--- Remove the original standard in Appendix A. The Standard Appendix A, Appendix B is an informative annex. The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee Chemistry (SAC/TC63) centralized. The standard by the China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Beijing Yanshan Company, the Chemical Institute of Standardization responsible for drafting. The main drafters of this standard. 3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 4470 regulations and the following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 Flame will want to analyze the sample analyte into free atoms, by measuring the vapor phase, the ground state atoms of the element of the electrical characteristics Magnetic radiation absorption to determine the chemical elements method.
3.2 Non-flame method (such as electric, laser or chemical reactions, etc.), will want to analyze the sample analyte into free atoms, by measuring The vapor phase of the element to the ground state atomic absorption characteristics of electromagnetic radiation, to determine the chemical elements method.
3.3 Electrothermal (such as graphite furnace, etc.) will want to analyze the sample analyte into free atoms, by measuring the vapor phase in the ground state of the element The characteristic atomic absorption of electromagnetic radiation to determine the chemical elements method.
3.4 Reduced to form a hydride-based analyte by heating (electric or flame) into free atoms of the element by measuring the vapor phase Ground state atoms of the element for characteristic absorption of electromagnetic radiation, to determine the chemical elements method.
3.5 For the analysis of a sample of mercury ions, reduction of free atoms by measuring the vapor phase to the ground state atomic absorption characteristics of electromagnetic radiation, To determine mercury content approach.
