GB 46032-2025 is the English-translated version of 储粮化学药剂管理与使用规范.

GB 46032-2025 specifies the classification, management requirements and usage requirements for pesticides used in grain storage, and applies to their management and use by grain and oil storage units.

Pesticides for stored grain are classified into fumigants, protectants, mould inhibitors, rodenticides, and insecticides for empty warehouses and equipment.

The management requirements cover procurement (registered products with quality certificates, complying with GB 3796 and GB 4838), transport of dangerous goods listed in GB 12268, loading and unloading, dedicated storehouses sited at least 30 m from offices, housing and water sources, two-person custody and stock ledgers, and the handling of scrapped and spilled pesticides, packaging waste and fumigation residues.

The usage requirements refer phosphine fumigation to LS/T 1201 and set personnel qualifications, exclusions and safety protection for operations such as fumigation and venting.
