Scope
GB 46033-2025 is the English-translated version of 粮食仓库安全操作规程.
GB 46033-2025 specifies the safety requirements for the production operations of grain warehouses run by grain storage enterprises: work safety management (organisation and responsibilities, safety management system, education and training), safety provisions for production operations, graded safety risk control and hidden hazard investigation and remediation, and emergency and accident management.
The operational provisions cover grain intake and outloading, grain drying, fumigation and controlled atmosphere storage, rented warehouses and outsourced work, work in limited spaces and at height (2 m or more above the fall reference plane), mobile equipment, equipment maintenance, temporary electricity work at 380 V or below, lifting work, fire and explosion prevention, and simple grain storage bins.
It defines hazards specific to grain bins such as arching, caked grain crusts and wall-hung grain, and refers to standards on personal protective equipment, dust explosion prevention (GB 17440), grain drying (GB/T 28668), pesticide management (GB 46032), phosphine fumigation (LS/T 1201), controlled atmosphere storage and emergency drills.
