Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.

This document replaces GB/T 28895-2012 Protective clothing - Oil-repellent, soil-release, antistatic protective clothing. Compared with GB/T 28895-2012, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

- the technical requirements for oil repellency, soil release, breaking strength, tear strength and air permeability of the protective clothing fabric have been changed (see 4.1; 4.1 of the 2012 edition);

- technical requirements and test methods for colour fastness to light and point-to-point resistance of the protective clothing fabric have been added (see 4.1, 5.9, 5.12);

- the technical requirements and test methods for the lining have been changed (see 4.2, 5.12; 4.2 of the 2012 edition);

- the structural requirements for the finished protective clothing have been changed (see 4.3.1; 4.3.1 of the 2012 edition);

- the sewing requirements for the finished protective clothing have been changed (see 4.3.4; 4.3.4 of the 2012 edition);

- the technical requirements for antistatic performance, formaldehyde content and pH value of the finished protective clothing have been changed (see 4.3.5; 4.3.5 of the 2012 edition);

- technical requirements and test methods for odour and for decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes in the finished protective clothing have been added (see 4.3.5, 5.17, 5.18);

- the test methods for oil repellency and soil release of the protective clothing fabric have been changed (see 5.10, 5.11; 5.2, 5.3 of the 2012 edition);

- the test method for antistatic performance of the finished protective clothing has been changed (see 5.13; 5.12 of the 2012 edition);

- the inspection rules have been deleted (see Clause 6 of the 2012 edition);

- the technical requirements for marking have been changed (see Clause 6; Clause 8 of the 2012 edition);

- technical requirements for the information supplied by the manufacturer have been added (see Clause 7).
