Scope
FZ/T 81007-2022 is the English-translated version of 单、夹服装.
FZ/T 81007-2022 is the Chinese textile industry standard for casual wear — the single-layer and lined garments made with a woven fabric as the main outer material. It sets the requirements, the inspection methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage of the finished garment, and it does not cover garments for infants aged 36 months and under. The requirements clause fixes the instructions for use, the size designation, the raw and auxiliary materials, the yarn skew — not more than 3 % on collar face, body, sleeves and trousers — the matching of stripes and checks down to a difference of 0.2 cm, the colour difference, not lower than grade 4 on surface parts and grade 3-4 on the lining, the appearance defects permitted zone by zone, the sewing quality over twenty-one items including stitch density and a seam allowance of not less than 0.8 cm, the permissible deviation of the finished measurements, the pressing, and the physical and chemical properties graded as excellent, first or qualified. Garments worn by children over 3 and up to 14 years of age shall also meet GB 31701. This is the fourth revision, replacing FZ/T 81007-2012, in force since 1 October 2022.
