This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This standard is identical with ISO 8325:2004 "Test methods for rotary instruments Dentistry" (in English).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the characteristics of dental rotary instruments such as the size bur, cutting discs, polishing equipment, instruments and diamond grinding equipment, strong neck Degree and surface roughness measurement method.

This standard does not provide dental rotary instruments used by the material properties of the test method.

Note: The test of these features can be found in the respective product standards.

This standard does not apply to root canal instrument (see ISO 3630-1).
