This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

drafted.

This document is part 3 of GB/T 36917 "Cutting tools for dental laboratories". GB/T 36917 has released the following parts.

--- Part 1.Steel cutting tools for laboratory use;

--- Part 2.Carbide cutting tools for laboratory use;

--- Part 3.Carbide cutting tools for milling machines;

--- Part 4.Micro carbide cutting tools for laboratory use.

This document is modified and adopted ISO 7787-3.2017 "Cutting tools for dental laboratories - Part 3.Carbide cutting tools for milling machines".

The technical differences between this document and ISO 7787-3.2017 and their reasons are as follows.

--- Replaced ISO 1942 (see 3.1) with the normatively cited GB/T 9937 to adapt to the technical conditions of our country and improve the operability.

action;

--- Replaced ISO 1797 (see 4.2) with the normatively cited YY/T 0967-2022 to adapt to my country's technical conditions and improve

Operability;

--- Replaced ISO 1797.2017 (see 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5) with the normatively cited YY/T 0967-2022 to adapt to our country's

technical conditions to improve operability;

--- Delete the cylindricity-related content of the working part in Figure 1 and Figure 2 (see 4.3, 4.4) to adapt to the technical conditions of our country and improve

Operability;

--- Replaced ISO 8325 (see 6.1, 6.2) with the normatively cited YY/T 0874 to adapt to the technical conditions of our country and improve the operability

action;

--- Changed the test method of radial runout (see 6.2) to accurately understand the meaning of the maximum value and minimum value of the cutting edge to avoid misunderstanding

area to improve operability;

--- Replaced ISO 2157 (see Chapter 7) with the normatively quoted YY/T 1011 to adapt to the technical conditions of our country and improve the operability.

Action.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

--- Deleted the introduction of ISO and IEC terminology databases in 3.1 of ISO 7787-3.2017;

--- Added the statement about the unit in the figure (see 4.3, 4.4);

--- Move the description of the test method in 4.6 radial runout to 6.2 radial runout (see 4.6, 6.2), so that the requirements and the test method are separated.

open, the order is clearer.

very important.

GB/T 36917 "Cutting tools for dental laboratory" consists of four parts.

--- Part 1.Steel cutting tools for laboratory use. The purpose is to standardize the dimensions and other requirements of steel cutting tools.

--- Part 2.Carbide cutting tools for laboratory use. The purpose is to standardize the various dimensions and other aspects of carbide cutting tools

Require.

--- Part 3.Carbide cutting tools for milling machines. The purpose is to standardize the various dimensions and other aspects of cemented carbide cutting tools for milling machines.

a requirement.

--- Part 4.Micro carbide cutting tools for laboratory use. The purpose is to standardize the dimensions and other aspects of miniature carbide cutting tools

various requirements.

GB/T 36917 is divided into the above four parts according to the differences in materials, connecting equipment and dimensions of cutting tools for laboratory use.

This document is one of a series of standards for dental rotary instruments.
