YY/T 0967.3-2016 is the English-translated version of 牙科旋转器械杆第3部分陶瓷杆.

YY/T 0967.3-2016 is the Chinese pharmaceutical industry standard for the ceramic shanks of dental rotary instruments.

It is the third part of the YY/T 0967 series and gives the terms and definitions, the classification, the requirements, the test methods and the quality control, covering the dimensions and tolerances of the shank, its concentricity and the strength and fit in the handpiece.

It does not apply to metal or plastic shanks. Issued on 29 July 2016, it has applied since 1 June 2017.

Foreword

YY/T 0967 "Dental Rotating Instrument" is divided into three parts.

- Part 1. Metal rods;

- Part 2. Plastic rods; Part 3. Ceramic rods. This part is Part 3 of YY/T 0967.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part uses the re-drafting method to modify the use of ISO 1797-3.:2013 "Dental Rotary Device Part 3. Ceramic Rod" (English Version).

The technical differences between this part and ISO 1797-3.:2013 are as follows.

--- on the normative reference documents, this part has made a technical differences in the adjustment to meet China's technical conditions, adjust the situation The situation is reflected in Chapter 2, "Normative references", as follows.

- Use equivalent GB/T 9937 oral vocabulary (all parts) (ISO 1942-1. 1989Amd1..1992Amd2..1992 Amd3..1993Amd5..1993, IDT) instead of ISO 1942;

Replace ISO 3274. 1975 with equivalent GB/T 6062-2009 (ISO 3274.:1996, IDT)

Replace ISO 4288. 1985 with equivalent GB/T 10610-2009 (ISO 4288.:1996, IDT)

- Replace YY/T 0874-2013 Dental Rotating Instrument Test Method (ISO 8325..2004IDT) with equivalent

ISO 8325.:2004;

Method for testing Vickers hardness of metallic materials GB/T 4340.1-2009 used for modification - Part 1. Test methods (ISO 6507-1.:2005, MOD) instead of ISO 6507-1.:2005.

1 Scope

YY/T 0967 This section specifies the terms, definitions, classification, requirements, test methods and quality control of the rods of the dental rotating instrument.

Partially applicable to ceramic rods, this part does not apply to metal rods and plastic rods.

3 Terms, definitions and symbols

3.1 Terms, definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 9937 (all parts) and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1.1 Shanks

The pole of the dental rotating instrument is designed to match the clamping position of a dental straight phone, a crooked phone, a mechanic mobile phone and a turbo phone.

3.2 Terms and symbols

The symbols and terms shown in Figures 1 to 8 are explained as follows. d1 --- rod diameter; d2 --- groove diameter; s - the maximum distance from the circumference to the platform; l1 --- with the length; l2 --- shoulder to end length; l3 --- shoulder to groove length; l4 --- groove width; l5 --- the length of the cone or round end; delta --- rod cylindrical degree.

Note. Figures 2 and 3 are given here in order to maintain consistency with YY/T 0967.1-2015.
