YY/T 0913-2015 is the English-translated version of 牙科 旋转器械用心轴.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This revised standard adopts ISO 13295:2007 "Dental rotary instruments - Mandrels" (in English). This standard and ISO 13295:2007 technical differences are as follows.
--- On normative references, this standard has been adjusted technical differences, in order to adapt our technical conditions, the adjusted situation Focus is reflected in the status of Chapter 2, "Normative references", the specific adjustments are as follows.
- Modify with international standards of GB/T 228.1-2010 instead of ISO 6892;
- with the GB/T 9937 (all parts) in place of the ISO 1942 (all parts);
- with YY/T 0873 (all parts) in place of the ISO 6360 (all parts);
- with the modified use of international standards YY/T 0967.1-2015 instead of ISO 1797-1;
- equivalents adoption of international standards YY 0873-2013 replaces ISO 8325:2004.
--- ISO 13295:2007 in Type 1, Type 2 and Type 1 with screw type 2 used screw holes and screw size M1.7, this standard while retaining the original on the ISO standard M1.7, M1.6 and M1.8 increase two sizes.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the applicable dental cutting discs and polishing equipment mandrel requirements, testing and packaging labels.
This standard uses YY 0873 (all parts) coding system, the 15-digit coding system for marking all types of dental Rotary instruments.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 9937 defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Mandrel
Dental rotary instruments holder rotatable shaft.
Category 4 The standard spindle mechanical properties and their applications, we recommend the following types.
--- Type 1. standard spindle;
--- Type 2. Enhanced spindle;
--- Type 3. for fixing to be mounted cylindrical threaded spindle polishing equipment;
--- Type 4. polished instrument to be mounted for fixing a conical threaded spindle;
--- Type 5. polishing instrument to achieve self-locking mandrel.
5 Requirements
5.1 Material
5.1.1 Proof strength (Rp0.2)
Type 1 spindle, spindle type 2, for Type 1 and Type 2 screws, Type 3 and Type 4 spindle arbor by a predetermined delay plasticity Tensile strength not less than 600MPa material.
