Scope

QC/T 229-2013 is the English-translated version of 摩托车和轻便摩托车转子机油泵技术条件.

Its scope is the rotor type oil pump fitted to motorcycle and moped engines. Classified T81 and 43.140, it draws on GB/T 191, GB/T 1184-1996, GB/T 1800.2-2009, GB/T 2828.1-2003, GB 11121-2006 and GB/T 15114-2009, as well as on JB/T 8413.3-2008 and JB/T 9774-2005.

1 Foreword

QC/T 229-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 17 October 2013 and has been in force since 1 March 2014.

2 Scope

The recommended automotive standard QC/T 229-2013 sets the technical requirements for rotor oil pumps used on motorcycles and mopeds. It states the requirements for the pump and describes the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope is the rotor type oil pump fitted to motorcycle and moped engines. Classified T81 and 43.140, it draws on GB/T 191, GB/T 1184-1996, GB/T 1800.2-2009, GB/T 2828.1-2003, GB 11121-2006 and GB/T 15114-2009, as well as on JB/T 8413.3-2008 and JB/T 9774-2005. It replaces QC/T 229-1997.
