NB/T 47023-2012 is the English-translated version of 长颈对焊法兰.

NB/T 47023-2012 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for welding neck flanges, the long neck welded flanges fitted to steel pressure vessels. It gives the structural types of these flanges and their dimension series.

The range it covers is bounded by a nominal pressure from 0.6 MPa to 6.4 MPa and a design temperature from -70 °C to 450 °C. It replaces JB/T 4703-2000, the machinery industry standard that previously held this subject.

It quotes NB/T 47020, NB/T 47024, NB/T 47025, NB/T 47026 and NB/T 47027, the companion documents of the pressure vessel flange series. Issued on 9 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
