Foreword

GB/T 15530 "copper alloy and composite flanges" series of standards consists of the following eight components.

This Part replaces GB/T 10748-1989 "marine welding copper rings loose sleeve steel flange (four into bit)" and GB/T 15530.5-1995 "Copper alloy flat steel plate welded Loose ring flange." This portion of the GB/T 10748-1989 and GB/T 15530.5-1995 main changes are as follows:

--- Unified pipe diameter;

--- Unified form of copper rings and the connection pipe;

1 Scope

GB/T 15530.5-2008 is the Chinese national standard on loose piate flange in steel with a plate collar alloy for brazing and welding, in the field of fluid systems and general-purpose components. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 25 August 2008 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 April 2009. Classification: ICS 23.040.60, CCS J15. GB/T 15530 provisions of this part of the copper alloy flat steel welding Loose ring flange (hereinafter referred to as flange) type and size, label, Claim. This section applies to the nominal pressure of not more than PN40, working temperature no higher than 200 °C for various types of piping design and manufacturing flanges.
