Scope

NB/T 47024-2012 is the English-translated version of 非金属软垫片.

NB/T 47024-2012 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for the non-metallic gaskets fitted to pressure vessel flanges. It sets out the types of non-metallic gasket, their dimensions, their marking and the technical requirements they must meet.

The gaskets are those used with the welding-neck flange of NB/T 47021 and the type B slip-on welding flange of NB/T 47022, among other pressure vessel flanges. Its provisions draw on GB/T 539, GB/T 3985, GB/T 5574, GB/T 5577, GB/T 9129, NB/T 47020, JB/T 6628, JB/T 7758.2 and QB/T 3625. It takes the place of JB/T 4704-2000. It was issued on 1 March 2013.
