NB/T 47022-2012 is the English-translated version of 乙型平焊法兰.

NB/T 47022-2012 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard for the type B slip-on welding flange made of steel for pressure vessels. It fixes the structural type of the flange and the full range of sizes in which it is made.

The flanges covered are those working at a nominal pressure of 0.25 MPa to 4.0 MPa and at temperatures from -20 °C to 350 °C. The standard is used with NB/T 47020 and with the gasket and fastener documents NB/T 47024, NB/T 47025, NB/T 47026 and NB/T 47027.

It replaces JB/T 4702-2000. Issued on 9 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
