NB/T 20023-2010 is the Chinese energy industry guideline on cost categories and cost accounts for nuclear power plant construction projects. It sets out how the estimates, the design estimates and the construction budget of such a project are divided, and how the expenses are grouped by their nature.

It is written for pressurized water reactor projects with unit capacities of the 300 MW, 600 MW and 1000 MW classes, covering investment estimates at the pre-feasibility and feasibility stages, preliminary design estimates and construction budgets.

The same breakdown serves for preparing tender documents and bids, for final settlement, and as a basis when construction economic disputes or bid prices have to be assessed.

NB/T 20025 is quoted. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
