Part 9 of the NB/T 20010 series, NB/T 20010.9-2010 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard on the final examination and testing of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant valves before they leave the factory.

It covers appearance and dimensional inspection, sealing tests and performance tests such as actuation, together with the test conditions and the pressure test.

Its provisions reach the safety-related gate, stop, throttle and check valves of PWR plants as well as ball, diaphragm, butterfly and plug valves and safety valves, and non-nuclear valves for nuclear use may be examined by reference to it.

The standard quotes GB/T 12220, GB/T 12221, GB/T 12241, JB/T 7927, NB/T 20010.11, NB/T 20010.12 and ASME QME-1-2007. It replaces EJ/T 1022.9-1996. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
