NB/T 20010.8-2010 is the Chinese energy industry standard governing the installation and maintenance of valves in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
Part 8 of the NB/T 20010 series, it gives the technical requirements for installing, maintaining and inspecting nuclear safety-related valves, spare parts included.
Valves that are not of a nuclear class but are used in nuclear plants may follow the same installation and maintenance requirements by reference. It works alongside the standards it quotes, EJ/T 331-1992, EJ/T 454, NB/T 20010.9 and the regulatory guide HAD 003/07.
The standard takes the place of EJ/T 1022.8-1996. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
