NB/T 20010.10-2010 is the Chinese energy industry standard that sets out stress analysis and seismic analysis for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant valves.

Part 10 of the NB/T 20010 series, it gives the methods of seismic and stress analysis and the stress assessment criteria used to show that the valve structure, including its pressure boundary, keeps its integrity.

It applies to safety-related valves of nominal diameter DN 25 mm and above, and its seismic analysis rules cover seismically classified valves as well as any other valve carrying seismic requirements.

The stress analysis rules it proposes do not apply to safety valves or pressure relief valves. It is used together with NB/T 20010.1-2010 and quotes GB/T 16702-1996, and it supersedes EJ/T 1022.14-1996. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
