NB/T 20010.13-2010 is the recommended energy industry standard of China for the non-classified valves used in nuclear devices, Part 13 of the series on pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant valves.

It lays down the basic requirements for the design, manufacture, testing and acceptance of nuclear island valves that are not designed and made to a nuclear class specification.

Its scope is the non-nuclear-class valves of PWR plants, with their actuators excluded. Dimensions, flanges, materials and examination follow quoted standards including GB/T 1220, GB/T 1221, GB/T 9113.1, GB/T 12221, GB/T 12224-2005, GB/T 12228, JB/T 3595-2002, JB/T 4730.3 and JB/T 7927.

It replaces EJ/T 1022.16-1996. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
