NB/T 20010.12-2010 is the Chinese energy industry standard for the pneumatic actuators fitted to valves in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Part 12 of the NB/T 20010 valve series, it gives the basic requirements for the design, manufacture, testing and acceptance of Class 1E pneumatic valve actuators.

It covers the on-off pneumatic devices used with safety related valves, both those of linear motion and those of rotary motion, so gate and globe valves come within it as well as diaphragm, ball and butterfly valves.

It takes the place of the earlier nuclear industry standard EJ/T 1022.12-1996 and quotes GB/T 7306, GB/T 7307, GB/T 12222, GB/T 12223, GB/T 13306, EJ/T 531, JB/T 8864 and HAF 003. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
