Scope
NB/T 11458-2023 is the English-translated version of 矿用地震勘探检波器.
NB/T 11458-2023 specifies the geophones used for seismic exploration in underground coal mines, including moving-coil velocity geophones and piezoelectric acceleration geophones.
It sets product types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, nameplate, packaging, transportation and storage.
The requirements rest on environmental tests for low and high temperature, damp heat, impact and vibration, intrinsic safety for explosive atmospheres, IP enclosure protection, petroleum geophone methods and verification of piezoelectric accelerometers.
It applies to the design, production and quality inspection of portable geophones for mine use. Issued on 28 December 2023, it has applied since 28 June 2024.
