3 terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Acceleration detector
Seismic sensors that detect vibration acceleration.
3.2 Three component acceleration detector
Can detect the same physical point on the three different directions of vibration acceleration of the geophone.
3.3 Moving coil acceleration detector
Acceleration detector realized by over damping characteristic of magnetoelectric sensor.
3.4 Eddy current accelerator detector
An accelerometer is realized by using the closed conductor to produce eddy current principle in the changing magnetic field.
3.5 Piezoelectric acceleration detectors
Acceleration detector realized by piezoelectric principle.
