NB/T 11456-2023 is the English-translated version of 选煤厂清洁生产技术规范.

NB/T 11456-2023 is the Chinese energy industry specification for cleaner production in coal preparation plants.

After basic requirements and guiding principles (efficiency, safety, low carbon, sustainable development and orderly production), it sets requirements for the production system: raw coal preparation, separation and processing, coal slurry water treatment, product storage and transport and reagent management.

It then deals with equipment, technical and economic indicators such as plant quantity efficiency and coal content in gangue, and emissions of air pollutants, noise, solid waste and hazardous waste, with monitoring rules and a normative annex on indicator calculation.

Plants use it to evaluate performance, plan cleaner production retrofits and draw up management systems. Issued on 28 December 2023, it has applied since 28 June 2024.

1 Scope

This document stipulates the basic requirements, basic principles, production system requirements, equipment technical requirements, technical and economic indicators of clean production in coal preparation plants Requirements, pollutant emission requirements, monitoring and indicator calculation.

3 Terms and definitions

3.1 Cleaner production

Adopt advanced coal preparation processes, technologies, equipment and production management systems, based on technical indicators, to prevent and eliminate.

The production process is aimed at reducing pollution, thereby reducing or eliminating the harm to the environment and human health.
