JB/T 9085-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9085-1999.

The filling and capping machines used for carbonated beverages and beer are covered by JB/T 9085-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry.
