JB/T 8934-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8934-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for direct drive portable reciprocating piston air compressors. It gives the model designation and the basic parameters of the machine, its requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking and packaging provisions. The compressors covered are the general-purpose air-cooled single-acting units of this kind. It replaces JB/T 8934-1999.
