JB/T 8687-2013 is the English-translated version of 泵类产品 抽样检验.
JB/T 8687-2013 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on sampling inspection of pump products. It fixes the inspection levels and the acceptance quality limit, the AQL, to be used when such products are sampled. Those two figures are what a sampling scheme drawn up under the standard rests on. The document is written for batch sampling by pump manufacturers, where the same product or the same components are turned out in quantity under identical conditions. It carries the Chinese classification J71, and it quotes GB/T 2828.1-2003. It replaces the 1998 edition, JB/T 8687-1998.
