JB/T 8498-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8498-1996.

2 Scope

JB/T 8498-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for continuous screw blade type resin sand mixers. It sets the technical requirements for the machine, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for packaging, storage and warranty. It applies to continuous helical blade mixers that mix foundry sand with a resin binder. Filed under J61 in China and 25.120.30 internationally, it is used with GB/T 1804-2000, GB/T 3766, GB 5226.1, GB/T 7932, GB/T 9969, GB 20905, GB/T 25711-2010 and the two parts of JB/T 8356. It replaces JB/T 8498-1996. Issued on 9 July 2014, it has applied since 1 November 2014.
