Scope
JB/T 8120.2-2011 is the English-translated version of 压燃式发动机 高压油管用钢管 第2部分：复合式钢管技术条件.
JB/T 8120.2-2011 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and the composite tube part of the series on steel tubes for the high-pressure fuel injection pipes of compression ignition engines.
For composite high-pressure tubing it specifies the dimensions and tolerances, the material technology, the testing, the marking methods and the labelling and packaging, covering the high-pressure pipes of the engine, named type 2 tubes, and the tubes used for high-pressure pump testing, named type 1 tubes.
It applies to diesel, or compression ignition, engines. The part is an identical adoption of ISO 8535-2:2003 and quotes ISO 404, ISO 6507-1 and ISO 6892. It supersedes JB/T 8120.2-2000, and its Chinese classification is J94.
