JB/T 5822-2015 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5822-1991.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the glass fibre reinforced phenolic moulding compounds used in electrical insulation. It sets out the classification of these products, the performance requirements they have to meet, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its field is the glass fibre reinforced phenolic moulding compound intended for electrical purposes.
