JB/T 4279.1-2008 is the English-translated version of 漆包绕组线试验仪器设备检定方法第1部分：总则.

As Part 1 of the JB/T 4279 series, JB/T 4279.1-2008 is a recommended Chinese mechanical and machinery industry standard giving the general rules for verifying the test instruments and equipment used on enamelled winding wire. It defines the terms employed, explains how measurement results are rounded, and covers the calibration and verification of the test apparatus, the physical measurement methods and the layout of the test certificate and of the notification of test results. It is written for the equipment on which enamelled winding wire is tested, and is classified K12 in China and 29.060 internationally. It quotes GB/T 8170. It replaces JB/T 4279.1-1994. It was issued on 1 January 2008.
