1 Foreword

JB/T 4279.3-2008 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 1 February 2008 and has been in force since 1 July 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4279.3-1994.

It is one of 29 parts of the JB/T 4279 series.

2 Scope

Part 3 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on verification procedures for test equipment of enamelled winding wire is JB/T 4279.3-2008, which concerns the elongation tester. It establishes the test items for the enamelled wire elongation tester and their technical requirements, the apparatus to be used in the check, the test methods, and the treatment given to the test results. The checks it describes are those performed on elongation testers for enamelled wire. The document is classified K12 in the Chinese scheme and 29.060 in the international one, quotes JB/T 4279.1-2008, and takes the place of JB/T 4279.3-1994.
