HG/T 4550.4-2013 is the English-translated version of 废弃化学品中镉的测定第4部分：原子荧光法.

HG/T 4550.4-2013 determines cadmium in waste chemicals by atomic fluorescence spectrometry and forms the fourth part of a recommended chemical industry standard of China. It explains the principle of the technique and then sets out the reagents and materials, the instruments, the treatment of the sample, the steps of the analysis and the calculation of the result. The method is there to establish how much cadmium a waste chemical contains. Its quoted standards are GB/T 4842, GB/T 6682-2008, HG/T 3696.2 and HG/T 3696.3. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it under Chinese classification Z04 and international classification 13.030.01. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
