HG/T 3108-2012 is the English-translated version of 冷硬铸铁辊筒.
HG/T 3108-2012 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China for chilled cast iron rolls. It gives the terms and definitions, the types and classification, the requirements and the inspection rules, and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
The rolls it covers are those used in the rubber and plastics industries. Its chemical analysis is carried out to the GB/T 223 series, while GB/T 228.1, GB/T 5612, GB/T 9441, GB/T 13384, GB/T 22315, HG/T 3223 and JB/T 10061 are also quoted.
It replaces HG/T 3108-1998 and HG/T 3118-1998. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
