HG/T 2820-2017 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China covering dipped polyamide and polyester-polyamide canvas for rubber conveyor belts. It sets out the classification of these products, their technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the packaging, marking, storage and transport. The fabrics it deals with are polyamide dipped canvas, polyester-polyamide dipped canvas and the high-temperature-resistant polyester type. Testing follows GB/T 3820, GB/T 6529, GB/T 8170, GB/T 14801, GB/T 31334.1, GB/T 31334.4, GB/T 31334.5 and FZ/T 10003. It replaces HG/T 2820-1996. Issued on 7 November 2017, it has applied since 1 April 2018.
