HG/T 2797.5-2007 is the English-translated version of 硅铝炭黑 第5部分：杂质的检查.
HG/T 2797.5-2007 is the fifth part of the Chinese chemical industry series on silica-alumina carbon black and deals with the inspection of impurities. It describes how non-black matter is screened out of the fraction that passes an 850 µm sieve, and it applies to the various grades of silica-alumina carbon black. The sieves are those of GB/T 6003.1 and the part is used alongside HG/T 2880. It takes the place of HG/T 2797.5-1996, the matching part of the earlier edition of the series, and it carries the Chinese classification G49. Issued on 22 September 2007, it has applied since 1 April 2008.
