Scope

HG/T 2797.4-2007 is the English-translated version of 硅铝炭黑第4部分：pH值的测定.

Part 4 of the silica-alumina carbon black series, HG/T 2797.4-2007, sets out how the pH value of the material is measured, and it applies to all types of silica-alumina carbon black. As a Chinese chemical industry standard it belongs with the rubber compounding ingredients group of the catalogue (Chinese classification G49). The measurement calls for water of the grade given in GB/T 6682, follows the pH determination practice of GB/T 9724, and the result is rounded according to GB/T 8170, while HG/T 2880 is also cited. The part was prepared as a modified adoption of ASTM D1512-1995 (2000) and replaces HG/T 2797.4-1996. Issued on 22 September 2007, it has applied since 1 April 2008.
