General technical requirements for rubber testing equipment are laid down in HG/T 2382-2022. The standard covers basic requirements, electrical equipment, appearance quality, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, noise, calibration, instrument marking, performance under transport vibration, packaging, transport and storage, and the inspection rules. It applies to rubber testing instruments and also to instruments and equipment used to test materials and products such as plastics and thermoplastic elastomers. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 30 September 2022 and it has applied since 1 April 2023.
