YY/T 1487.2-2018 is the English-translated version of 牙科学牙科橡皮障器械第2部分：夹钳.

YY/T 1487.2-2018 is the Chinese pharmaceutical industry standard for the dental rubber dam clamp, the instrument that holds the dam on the tooth.

It is the second part of the YY/T 1487 series on rubber dam technique and sets the requirements and the test methods, covering the materials and their corrosion resistance, the dimensions and the form of the jaws and the bow, the spring force and the retention on the tooth, the resistance to permanent deformation and fracture, and the ability of the clamp to be cleaned and sterilized. Issued on 21 September 2018, it has applied since 26 September 2019.

Foreword

YY/T 1487 "Dental Dental Dental Rubber Gear" is divided into two parts.

---Part 1. Perforator;

--- Part 2. Clamps. This part is the second part of YY/T 1487.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This section uses the redrafting method to modify the use of ISO 16635-2:2014 "dental dental rubber damper device part 2. clip clamp".

The main differences between this part and ISO 16635-2:2014 are as follows.

--- According to China's market demand and industry status, the use of GB/T 20878-2007 "stainless steel and heat-resistant steel grades and chemical formation Sub-section replaces ISO 15510 "Stainless Steel - Chemical Composition";

--- Convert the steel number into the applicable steel number in China (see 4.7);

--- Modified some formatting formats in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009;

--- Removed the ISO preface;

--- For other international standards cited in this section, if it has been converted to Chinese standards, this section replaces the referenced international standard number with Corresponding national or industry standard number, and indicate the adoption relationship in Chapter 2 of this section.

In order to promote the application of dental rubber dams, standardization of the tools and materials required is necessary.

This part of YY/T 1487 specifies the requirements and test methods for dental rubber dampers.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 9937 and YY/T 1487.1 apply to this document.

3.1 Dental rubber damper

Dental barrier Rubber dam rubberdam An elastic sheet made of natural latex or synthetic material used to repair one or several teeth and other parts of the mouth during tooth restoration isolation.

3.2 Lock part lockingpart

The device located near the joint of the clamp handle automatically locks when the clamp is opened to secure the clamp after the clamp is clamped.

3.3 Clamp working end clampreceiver

The clamp is used to clamp and place the working end of the rubber baffle and connect it to the joint of the clamp through a connecting piece.

Note. Guided by the joint, the working end is opposite to the direction of movement of the handle.
