Foreword

This guideline uses the redrafted law to refer to IEC WT01:2001 "Wind Turbine Qualification Test and Certification System" (English version) preparation. Consistency with IEC WT01:2001 is not equivalent.

The main differences between this guidance document and IEC WT01:2001 are as follows.

--- Removed "IEC Preface" and "Introduction" of IEC WT01:2001 and added the "Preface" to this guidance document;

--- Removed the contents of "1 Name", "2 Purposes", "3 Guidance Documents" and "4 Organizations" in IEC WT01:2001;

--- With the national standard supplement and replace IEC WT01:2001 involved in the IEC and ISO series of standards;

--- In the "definition" to increase the design certification and design certification concept;

--- In the "certification content" to increase the design certification content, equivalent to the design evaluation in IEC WT01:2001;

--- After "certification content" all the content, are revised with IEC WT01:2001 for approval draft IEC 61400-22:2007 (process Draft) replaced the original IEC WT01:2001 content, and delete the "prototype certification" content.

1 Scope

This Guidance Document sets out the rules and procedures for the certification of WTGs. The procedures for implementing the conformity assessment of WTGs the principles of sequencing and management are described in detail. Conformity assessment will be in accordance with the relevant standards and related technical requirements for wind turbine safety Reliability, performance, testing, and compatibility with the grid.

This guidance document is applicable to any type and specification of wind turbine.
