Scope
GB/T 9775-2025 is the English-translated version of 纸面石膏板.
GB/T 9775-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the board that lines an interior wall or a ceiling — the six product types from plain to water-resistant and fire-resistant, the four edge shapes, the calcined gypsum and the face paper, the surface density and the breaking load, the end and edge hardness, the impact resistance, the adhesion of the face paper to the core on which the board's strength depends, the water absorption, and the fire stability time. It replaces GB/T 9775-2008, under the China Building Materials Federation. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026, replacing GB/T 9775-2008.
