Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 30593-2014 "External Wall Interior Insulation Composite Panel System". Compared with GB/T 30593-2014, the only difference is the structural adjustment. Aside from integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The scope of the exterior wall interior insulation composite panel system has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2014 edition);

---The terms and definitions of "exterior wall interior insulation composite panel" and "exterior wall interior insulation composite panel system" have been changed (see 3.1, 3.2,.2014 edition). 3.1, 3.2);

---Added the term and definition of "connector" (see 3.5);

---The composite panel category has been removed (section

4.1 of the.2014 edition);

---Added the basic structure of the exterior wall insulation composite panel system with decorative finish (see Table 2);

---The requirements for flame retardants in thermal insulation materials have been added (see 5.1.1);

---Added aging time requirements for molded polystyrene boards and extruded polystyrene boards (see 5.1.2);

---Requirements for ceramic plates and minimum nominal thickness have been added [see 5.2.1d];

---The connection requirements for composite panel panels have been changed (see 5.2.2,

5.5 in the.2014 version);

---Appearance requirements for composite panels have been added (see 6.2.1);

1 Scope

GB/T 30593-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering insulating a wall from the inside - the composite panel and its fixing, the thermal performance, and above all the vapour control and the thermal bridges at floors and partitions, which is where interior insulation causes condensation and mould if it is got wrong. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 30593-2014.

This document specifies the basic structure, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and accompanying documents for exterior wall interior insulation composite panel systems. Documentation, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document applies to the production and inspection of internal insulation composite panel systems used in civil building exterior wall internal insulation projects.
