Scope

GB/T 8874-2008 is the English-translated version of 粮油通用技术、设备名词术语.

GB/T 8874-2008 is the Chinese national vocabulary for the general technology and equipment of the grain and oils industry.

Its chapters follow the plant: cleaning, mechanical conveyors, ventilation and dust removal and pneumatic conveying, weighing, feeding and batching equipment, packaging equipment, measurement and control equipment, and pipes, fittings and gates, closed by a list of references and by a Chinese and an English index.

The cleaning chapter starts from the process flow diagram and its graphic symbols, then defines sieving, grading, dust removal and the single and parallel machine routes.

It quotes ISO 4225. It is intended for production, research and teaching in the food industry. It replaces GB/T 8874-1988, was issued on 4 November 2008 and has applied since 20 January 2009.

Foreword

This standard is GB/T 8874-1988 "General technical grain and oil equipment terminology" amendments. This standard and GB/T 8874-1988 The main technical difference.
