Introduction

Currently, irradiated agricultural products are inseparable from people's lives and play an important role in ensuring the quality and safety of stored agricultural products and reducing post-harvest losses.

Function. GB/T 18525 "Irradiation Processes for Agricultural Products" aims to establish a series of irradiation processing procedures for agricultural products, and stipulates the pretreatment requirements for agricultural products before irradiation.

The requirements and management of the entire process, including preparation, monitoring of irradiation processing, post-irradiation treatment, recording and documentation, are planned to consist of 15 parts.

---Part 1: Legumes and their products. The purpose is to develop irradiation insecticide and sterilization process specifications for legumes and their products.

---Part 2: Cereals and their products. The purpose is to develop irradiation pesticide and fungicide processing procedures for cereals and their products.

---Part 3: Dried Fruits. The purpose is to develop irradiation insecticide and sterilization process specifications for dried fruits.

---Part 4: Lotus Seeds. The purpose is to develop process specifications for irradiation insecticide and bactericide treatment of lotus seeds.

---Part 5: Dried Shiitake Mushrooms. The purpose is to develop a process specification for irradiation-based insect control and mold prevention for dried shiitake mushrooms.

---Part 6: Dehydrated Vegetables. The purpose is to develop a process specification for the irradiation sterilization of dehydrated vegetables.

---Part 7: Spices and Seasonings. The purpose is to establish specifications for the irradiation sterilization process of spices and seasonings.

---Part 9: Chilled Meat. The purpose is to develop a process specification for the irradiation sterilization of chilled meat.

---Part 10: Garlic. The purpose is to develop a process for inhibiting garlic sprouting through irradiation.

---Part 11: Dried Longan. The purpose is to develop a process specification for the irradiation sterilization and insecticidal treatment of dried longan.

---Part 12: Pollen. The purpose is to develop a process specification for the irradiation sterilization of pollen.

---Part 13: Instant Tea. The purpose is to develop a standard procedure for the irradiation sterilization process of instant tea.

---Part 14: Frozen Aquatic Products. The purpose is to develop irradiation sterilization process specifications for frozen aquatic products.

---Part 15: Cooked Aquatic Products. The purpose is to develop irradiation sterilization process specifications for cooked aquatic products. Agricultural product irradiation process Part 11: Dried Longan
