This standard is GB/T 8234-1987 "castor oil" amendments.

This standard and GB/T 8234-1987 main technical differences are as follows.

--- Modify packaging, storage and transportation.

Since the implementation of this standard replaces GB/T 8234-1987 "castor oil." Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of castor oil, quality requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling and packaging, storage and transport Requirements.

This standard applies to castor beans as raw industrial commodity castor oil.
