This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 19112-2003 "Rice Bran Oil". Compared with GB/T 19112-2003, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. In addition, the main technological changes are as follows:

---The classification has been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2003 edition);

---The quality requirements have been changed, and "Basic Composition and Main Physical Parameters" have been set (see 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, Chapter 5 of the.2003 edition);

1.Scope This document defines the terminology and definitions for rice bran oil, provides a classification, and specifies its quality requirements, inspection rules, labeling, and packaging. The requirements for storage, transportation, and sales are described, along with the relevant testing methods. This document applies to the production, sale, and inspection of finished rice bran oil and crude rice bran oil.

5 Quality Requirements

5.1 Basic Components and Main Physical Parameters The basic composition and main physical parameters of rice bran oil are shown in Table

1.These compositions and parameters represent the basic properties of rice bran oil, when used in actual applications. This is for reference only when determining the authenticity of a claim.

5.2 Quality Indicators

5.2.1 Rice Bran Crude Oil Quality Indicators The quality indicators of crude rice bran are shown in Table 2.

5.2.2 Quality Indicators of Finished Rice Bran Oil The quality indicators of the finished rice bran oil are shown in Table 3.

5.3 Other Rice bran oil should not be mixed with other edible oils or non-edible oils.

6 Test methods

6.1 Relative density test. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5526.

6.2 Fatty acid composition test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.168.

6.3 Transparency, odor and taste tests. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5525.

6.4 Moisture and volatile matter content testing. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.236.

6.5 Test for insoluble impurities. Performed in accordance with GB/T 15688.

6.6 Color inspection. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5009.37.

6.7 Heating test. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5531.

6.8 Freezing test. Performed in accordance with GB/T 35877.

6.9 Smoke point test. Performed in accordance with GB/T 20795.

6.10 Soap content test. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5533.

6.11 Acid value test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.229.

6.12 Peroxide value test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.227.

6.13 Solvent residue test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.262.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 General Rules for Inspection Perform according to GB/T 5490.

7.2 Sampling Follow GB/T 5524.

7.3 Factory Inspection

7.3.1 Each batch shall be inspected and an inspection report shall be issued.

7.3.2 The items shall be inspected according to the items specified in Tables 2 and 3.

7.4 Type Testing

7.4.1 Type testing shall be conducted whenever there are significant changes in raw materials, equipment, or processes, or when required by supervisory and management authorities.

7.4.2 The items shall be inspected according to the items specified in Tables 1, 2 and 3.

7.5.1 If any item fails to meet the requirements of

5.1 upon inspection, the oil extracted from the rice bran raw material used to produce that batch of products shall be used for testing. If the test results are inconsistent with the test results of the sample, the product is deemed unqualified.

7.5.2 If the quality grade of the finished rice bran oil product is not labeled, it shall be deemed unqualified.

7.5.3 If any item in the crude rice bran product fails to meet the requirements of Table 2 during inspection, it shall be deemed unqualified. If any item in the finished rice bran oil product fails to meet the requirements during inspection, it shall be deemed unqualified. If an item does not meet the value specified in Table 3, the product is deemed not to meet the corresponding grade.

8 Labeling

8.1 Prepackaged products shall comply with relevant national regulations.

8.2 Non-prepackaged products should be labeled with their product names according to their classification.

8.3 The processing technology should be indicated on the packaging or accompanying documents, and the product quality grade should also be indicated on the finished rice bran oil.

9.1 Packaging

9.1.1 It shall comply with GB/T 17374 and relevant national regulations.

9.1.2 Packaging and storage graphic symbols shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 191.

9.2 Storage It should be stored in a clean, cool, dry, and dark place, and should not be stored with harmful or toxic substances, especially avoiding places with unusual odors. thing. If a product's shelf life depends on certain special conditions, this should be indicated on the label.

9.3 Transportation Safety precautions should be taken during transportation to prevent exposure to sunlight, rain, leakage, contamination, and label detachment. Bulk transportation should comply with GB/T 30354. Require.

9.4 Sales Finished rice bran oil should not be sold in bulk outside of its original packaging at retail outlets.
